At Testo Industrial Services, you will be part of influential projects as a dual student in the field of business informatics application management. You will independently analyze, develop, test and actively contribute your know-how. As an all-rounder for the areas of business and IT, you will also advise other departments and develop concepts for the further development and optimization of business processes.
The theory phases at the dual university are characterized by wide-ranging study content such as IT management, project management, programming, and business process management, which you will apply and deepen directly at Testo Industrial Services during the practical phases.

Our dual student Jan talks about his experiences during his dual study program "Business Informatics" at Testo Industrial Services.
Hey, I'm Jan and I started my dual studies as an IT specialist at Testo Industrial Services in 2021. I graduated from high school in the same year and applied to several companies, including Testo Industrial Services. Due to the Corona situation, I was first invited to an online interview. After a successful interview, I was invited to a personal interview and a trial work day.
During the interview and the trial workday, I immediately felt the familiar and friendly atmosphere at TIS, which contributes to the feel-good atmosphere. When I received my acceptance letter, I was thrilled and excited about what to expect.
My first department was 1st level IT support. We were always in direct contact with customers and employees, whether via the hotline or the Topdesk ticket system. Our job was to help with all kinds of IT problems, which meant that the work was very varied and you always learned something new.
The processes and procedures were explained to me very thoroughly and I was allowed to answer my own first tickets after only a short time. If you have any questions, you can always contact the training officer, who is available in every department. In principle, you can ask anyone in the department, and no matter who I turned to, every employee was always friendly, eager and able to help me with valuable tips.
I'm now in the 2nd level Business Applications team and I'm still learning new things every day. I particularly like the cohesion within the respective teams and the willingness to help when you have questions or simply don't get anywhere. You simply notice that Testo Industrial Services is an employer that focuses on its employees and always tries to make the training as varied and exciting as possible.
The various trainee projects also strengthen the cohesion among the trainees and you develop personally.
What I particularly like about the dual study program is that you gain a lot of work experience during your studies. You know exactly what to expect in professional life and can apply theoretical knowledge directly in your practical training. This makes for a refreshing change. I'm looking forward to the next 2 years of training and am excited about the new topics, areas and tasks that await me.
