Short internship/preliminary internship
A short internship/preliminary internship offers you the ideal start to your studies or the ideal supplement to your everyday studies. You can get a taste of the different areas of Testo Industrial Services and gain an insight into our work. During your time with us, you will get a feel for the day-to-day work in a modern service company in the field of quality assurance.
After a one to three week induction phase, we can discuss your interests and skills together and use this to define your focus during the internship. Finally, you will be involved in various larger or smaller projects in one of our departments.
Possible fields of activity:
- Technical sales
- Support in the calibration laboratories (mechanics laboratory, electrics laboratory, length metrology laboratory, analytical metrology laboratory, thermodynamics laboratory, flow laboratory)
- Quality management
- Directly in the technical field service at our customers' sites
Duration: 3-8 weeks
Practical semester
In the course of an internship semester, you have the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience. You will gain a deep insight into our work as a technically oriented service company and take on responsibility at an early stage through various projects. We offer both voluntary and mandatory internship semesters.

Duration: 6 months
Bachelor's and Master's degree programs
The bachelor's and master's degree program is aimed at technical students on bachelor's and master's degree courses from the 1st semester onwards. During your time with us, you will gain deep insights into the operational practice and organizational processes at Testo Industrial Services.
Based on your interests and skills, we can jointly and individually determine the projects and areas of application within the framework of a coordinated overall program. Through additional practical phases, the bachelor's or master's degree program represents an optimal combination of theory and practice. A monthly salary is paid throughout the main study program.
Start & Duration:
- From the 1st semester
- Extension of the study period by one semester of leave as additional voluntary internship
- Practical semester and thesis at Testo Industrial Services
- Additional activities during the semester break (16 weeks in total) by working on various projects
Technician works
All just plain theory? Not with us! At Testo Industrial Services, you have the opportunity to work on a topic or project with direct practical relevance as part of your technical thesis.
During your time with us, you can work in our calibration laboratories or directly at our customers' sites and thus experience the everyday work of a modern, technical service company at first hand.
Through the results of your technician work, we can gain valuable insights and use them to initiate further developments.
At Testo Industrial Services, the technician thesis can also be written together with a fellow student from the technician school, so that the topic is worked on in pairs.

Theses
The final milestone within a student's studies is the thesis. Count on the professional support of the experts at Testo Industrial Services and write your bachelor's or master's thesis at one of the most successful companies in the field of quality assurance. After a short familiarization phase (approx. 1 month), you will start your thesis project for approx. 5 months and have a guaranteed practical relevance at the same time.
In close coordination with your personal contact person or project team, we will jointly create a project plan so that your time with us can be used as effectively as possible. Through your thesis, you can also lay the foundation for your possible further career at Testo Industrial Services.
